Who is the midwife Yami International?

 

Yami International is a French midwife who works in a birth center and in obstetric and gynecological emergencies. She is described as cheerful, empathetic, and spontaneous, and she shares her knowledge on social media to help women better understand their bodies and become active participants in their own health.


During her work in obstetric emergencies and consultations, Yami noticed that women were not properly informed about their health, and that some of them followed misleading information found on the internet that could put their health and the health of their unborn baby at risk.

Therefore, she decided to launch her presence on Tiktok, and then on Instagram and Youtube, in late 2021, to reach a wider audience and provide accurate information on gynecology, pregnancy, childbirth, postpartum, and breastfeeding.

Using her many years of experience in the birthing center and in obstetric emergencies, as well as the training she received at prestigious universities such as Yale, Stanford, and Munich, Yami developed a method to help her patients (both with normal and pathological pregnancies) have a fast, less painful, more physiological labor and an easy childbirth. Her patients are reportedly very satisfied with her approach, and due to demand from her social media followers, she has decided to democratize the method she developed so that it can benefit as many women as possible.

Yami International's goal is for all women to enjoy their pregnancy, have a birth that respects their wishes and well-being, while also preserving their and their baby's health. She wants women to be able to experience the birth of their dreams in a safe and healthy way.
